This website is about the BMW 700, one of the more unknown BMW models. Nevertheless, this was the model which saved the BMW company from bankrupcy and was the model which made the leap from minicars to the new class of BMW's like the 1500 and 1800.

Finally the website is up and running again. It was moved to another server and I took the opportunity to "refresh" the look and feel a little bit.

As I am working on improving the website some pictures might not show. This will be fixed when I release an update to the website next month.

Many months have passed by without any update to the website. I did not even pay attention to the 50th anniversary of the BMW 700 in 2009, sorry for that....

Looking at the statistics of the website I found out that the website still has over 2,100 unique visitors per month(!). This number is quite impressive and is giving me some new energy to start working on the website again. I don't have a time schedule in mind so please check on a regular basis if new information has been added to the website.

In the BMW 700 movie gallery you can find a new film featuring a BMW 700 Limousine racing on a USAF airfield in Italy in 1963. A special thanks goes out to Mr. Johnson who donated this 8mm movie.

Furthermore you will find a unique video from a DeCarlo 700 Limousine (build in Argentina with a license from BMW) which is converted to a drag racer!
